Delaire Resident1967/73. Fellowship with Paul Tessier 71/73. Plastic surgery Consultant at Nantes University Hospital 73/89. Head of “Pays de la Loire Cleft Palate Center” since 2008 at the Clinique Jules Verne.

His “Nasal Breathing Approach” protocol stressing the role of a nasal ventilation on facial growth has been the same for 21 years.

Since 1990 he has written 32 Clef palate papers and has been Invited 54 times as Faculty member or lecturer at International Meetings: In Belgium (2), England (3), France (15), Ireland (1), Italy (7), Norway (2), Scotland (1), Spain (1), Sweden (2), Swiss (1), Australia (4), Canada (1), India (3), Oman (1), Singapore (1), South Africa (1), South Korea (1),  Uruguay (1), USA (1), Chile (1), Morocco (1), Tunisia (1), Brazil (1).

Lecturer at the Advanced Course of the British Association of Plastic Surgeon on “Cleft asymmetry” in 1999. Visited by the British Surgical Group under the presidency of B. Sommerlad in Oct. 2004 and invited to deliver the “Millard Oration” opening the Indian Cleft Palate Congress in 2013.

Past President of the French Facial Cleft Association (AFFF). 2001/2002.

Honorary member of the French Society of Plastic Reconstructive and Esthetique Surgery.

Foreign Associate of the SILPS.
