Persson, Christina (Sweden)

Christina Persson graduated as Speech- and Language Pathologist 1987 and completed her doctoral theses, ‘Speech and language in patients with an isolated cleft palate and/or 22q11 deletion syndrome’ 2004 at University of Gothenburg. She is appointed as Associated Professor at University of Gothenburg, and as Speech- and Language Pathologist at Sahlgrenska University hospital, Gothenburg, Sweden, where she is a part of the cleft palate team. Since December 2017 she is Assistant head of Department of Health and Rehabilitation at Sahlgrenska academy at University of Gothenburg. She is working as a co-PI of the international NIDCR-funded randomized controlled trial, TOPS (Timing Of Primary Surgery for Cleft Palate) and is a member of the core speech group in the international randomized controlled trial, the ScandCleft study.
